Terms of service
The agreement between you and Operations Hub when you use the app or the study service. Plain language first; where it matters, the exact rule follows.
Who these terms are with
Operations Hub is made and run by an individual developer in the United States ("we", "us"). By installing the app or buying a plan, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the app.
Your account and age
You must be at least 13 to use Operations Hub. If you're under the age of majority where you live, a parent or guardian must agree to these terms for you. The app isn't directed at children under 13.
Plans and payment
Our order process is handled by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle is the Merchant of Record for all our orders and provides customer service for billing questions and returns. Paid plans renew automatically at the end of each period (monthly or yearly) at the price shown when you bought, until you cancel. Before you buy, the checkout shows the price, the renewal period and how to cancel. We'll tell you before any price change takes effect, and you can cancel before it does.
You can cancel any time; your plan continues to the end of the period you paid for. Refunds are covered in refunds and cancelling.
Study sets and fair use
Each plan includes a number of study sets per month, shown on the pricing page. Unused sets don't carry over. The study service is for making study material from your own learning material for your own study. Automated or bulk use, reselling, or using it to run another service isn't allowed, and we may limit or suspend accounts that do this.
Your content
What you add to Operations Hub stays yours. When you send a document to the study service, you give us permission to process it only to make your study set and return it to you. We don't store it, sell it, or use it to train AI. You're responsible for having the right to use what you upload.
AI output
Questions and explanations are made by AI and checked by automated rules and a second AI reader. The checks confirm that a question matches your material; they can't confirm your material is correct, and no method removes every mistake. Use the quoted source line to verify anything that matters, and don't rely on the app as the only source for exams, professional decisions, medical, legal or financial matters.
Acceptable use
Follow the acceptable use policy, including your school's academic honesty rules.
Availability and changes
The app works on your computer without our service. The study service may sometimes be unavailable or paused (for example, if a daily limit is reached); when that happens, sets aren't counted against your month. We may change the app and these terms; for a significant change, we'll tell you in the app or by email before it applies.
Ending
You can stop using Operations Hub at any time, and your data remains on your computer. We may suspend access to the study service for a serious or repeated breach of these terms; where we can, we'll warn you first and refund unused prepaid time.
Liability
The app is provided as is, to the extent the law allows. Our total liability to you for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that can't be waived.
